Pre-sale preparation and accepting the motorcycle

Before a motorcycle reaches its owner, it is usually checked and serviced. Let us cover what this includes and what to check on acceptance.

What preparation covers

• Diagnostics of the main assemblies.
• Replacing consumables if needed.
• Fixing minor issues found during inspection.

The scope is agreed individually, since each motorcycle is in its own condition.

Acceptance

On handover, check that the motorcycle matches the auction sheet and documents, verify the frame number, and inspect the overall condition. All documents should be in hand.

After you receive it

Before active use it is worth a full service with a specialist, especially if the bike stood idle for a while. This extends its life and adds confidence on the road.
